Our competitions for children and teens in Faversham and surrounding villages are now open for 2024.

Submit a poem or story up to 500 words long.

Entries should be submitted through participating schools. If you are not attending a participating school, but live within Faversham and surrounding villages, entries can be sent to info@favershamliteraryfestival.com – all entries must contain the child's name, age, and school or home postcode.

The winner of each category wins £100 worth of books for their school library or a nominated book-related charity, plus a £25 National Book Token. Second prize in each category is a £15 National Book Token.

Deadline for entries: 17 January 2025

Winners will be notified in February 2025
